Hey guys! I’m so excited to share this post with you because the location is so different and artistic. I was in Brooklyn and looking for a place to take pictures and stumbled upon these amazing murals.  They are amazing and each one is so unique and absolutely amazing- even the scary looking creature one with horns! Which one is your favorite?

As for my outfit, I decided to wear these skinnies from Uniqlo (similar to the orange ones in my previous A Hint of Leopard post- I told you they’re my favorite) with a black tank to make the belt pop.  I wanted to keep the jewelry light because the belt already stands out, and these wedges are probably the most comfortable high heeled shoes I own. The best part is that I got them for an amazing price at a boutique (I dont remember which one!) in Soho last fall. Speaking of fall, I’m looking for a great pair of booties for this season so let me know if you know of any!

Hey everyone! It’s been a crazy week between work and school with exams and reports due every day. I am so happy that it’s finally Friday so I took the opportunity to go out and take some pictures.

Believe it or not, I got this great ombre fringe shirt at Forever 21 a while ago. I decided to pair it with these high shine leggings for a more summery look – I’m trying to extend the summer as much as I can! The shoes are my favorite part of this outfit. I have been dying to get Sam Edelman spiked heels and when I saw them in the Bloomingdales Outlet on sale I had to have them!  I like that they’re black and give a little bit of edge to the outfit.

Hey guys! This is my first real photo post and I really hope you like it! Let me know what you think! (:

After days of humidity, rain and stormy weather, we finally got a beautiful day in the city. The perfect weather for a walk and of course picture taking. I decided to go casual and wear these stretchy orange skinnies from Uniqlo (they are super comfortable and I absolutely love them) with a simple white tank and these fun leopard loafers.

With Fall right around the corner, I decided to pick a few items that I think are must-haves for the season and share them with you.

1. Leather Leggings- (faux leather, of course!) Not entirely leather, but half leather and half stretch leggings make for a great casual piece, but can also be dressed up for a night out. I just picked up my pair for under $20 at Forever 21!

2. Essie Nail Polish ‘Stylenomics’- This dark green color is from Essie’s new fall collection.  I love this green as a transition from the pastels and mint green summer shades to the richer, darker fall colors. I love dark nail polish colors and can not wait to try this one!

3. Comfy Knit Sweater- I know that when the weather gets cooler there is nothing I love more than wearing a casual knit sweater with a pair of  jeans or leggings. This light brown is a nice warm color and goes with just about anything, but I’m thinking that it would look amazing in a bright color as well!

4. Gold Spike Bracelet- This bracelet is super cute and adds something extra to every outfit. Not to mention, it’s perfect for the metallic trend this fall.

5. Leather Booties- These booties are great for an every day look and I think that they are a necessity for the fall. These particular ones are Chinese Laundry and are  less than $100!

6. Big School Bag- School just started, and that means it’s time for a new bag! This is the Large Longchamp tote- the perfect bag to fit anything and everything that you need for the day. Not to mention it comes in a variety of colors, it’s waterproof and does not get ruined in the rain or snow, it’s durable and most important-super cute! If I could, I would own it in every color!

7. Cheetah Print Top- Fall does not need to mean a boring wardrobe! Make your outfit pop with a cheetah print top and it’s in style this season as well. This one is a tee version from Forever 21, but you can make it more dressy with a chiffon or button-down one.

8. Red Lipstick- You can’t open a magazine without seeing red lipstick, and for good reason! It’s one of those colors that never goes out of style and is a classic.  You don’t have to go with the traditional red color, but switch it up and go for a more orange-red or if you’re brave enough for a much darker red. Either way, red lipstick is definitely in my makeup bag this fall!

9. Metallics- One of the hottest trends for the fall is metallics!  Metallic shoes, bags, jackets, blouses, pants-you name it! This trend is everywhere!  I think that a great way to incorporate it in your wardrobe is through these awesome skinny jeans. They can be dressed down for school and then transformed into a ‘wow’ piece with some heels and red lipstick for the night time.

So I don’t know about you guys but I love getting my nails done and experimenting with different nail polish colors. This week was my first week back to school, and with crazy neons and pretty blues all summer, I decided to go for a very soft pale pink color.  This one is is called Pop Art Pink by Essie.  What nail polish color are you wearing?

I am so excited to start this blog and since I want to get it up and running, I’ve decided to just do a quick post. These pictures are a quick flashback to last summer, with very natural barely there makeup. As you will see, I prefer a very natural look, especially because summers in NYC are extremely hot and it gets crazy humid! The location is Long Island City, which is one of my favorite places in Queens. There is a beautiful view of Manhattan and there are many cute restaurants and so many things to do. As to my outfit, I chose a simple skirt with a regular tank and sandals. The colors are very muted, but I promise to spice it up in the next post! (:
